Protech are looking for experienced Overhead Distribution Lineperson to perform work with our client across a variety of project locations across WA.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • As a Lineworker, you will be responsible for the construction, maintenance, and repair of electricity distribution networks, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency
  • Working on high and low voltage overhead and underground systems.
  • Setting up new poles, transformers, conductors, and other power equipment.
  • Restoring power efficiently after outages caused by storms, equipment failure, or damage.
  • Performing maintenance on energised lines using specialised tools and techniques.
  • Interpreting schematics to plan and execute work effectively.
  • Using bucket trucks, elevated work platforms, and cranes for installations and repairs.
  • Working with engineers, technicians, and stakeholders to ensure smooth power distribution

TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Construction White Card
  • MR or HR Drivers licence & reliable transport
  • Min 2 year/s exp within Civil Industry
  • Certificate III in ESI - Distribution Overhead
  • High Risk Work License with Elevated Work Platform Class (WP)
  • C2 Crane & rigging qualifications will be highly regarded
  • Demonstrated ability to work safely on distribution and transmission networks
