**The Role & Project**

MACA Interquip is currently seeking a highly motivated Procurement Manager to join our team based in Welshpool. The role is responsible for leading the procurement team, design and implementation of process and system initiatives and liaison with the various departments to ensure that procurement supports the business to facilitate successful delivery of projects on time and on budget.

**Responsibilities of the Role**:

- Prepare and submit accurate reports in a timely manner as requested.
- Undertake end to end procurement activities including procurement planning and documentation, tendering, evaluation,
- Acts as an integral part of the project team and closely collaborated with the project manager and other relevant project team members.
- Monitor deliverables under the contract against requirements and respond in a timely manner where issue arise or can be seen to arise.

**To be successful in this role, you will possess**:

- 10+ years’ experience in procurement and management roles
- Record of successfully managing commercial projects in the mining and minerals industry.
- Advance skills with the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Sound knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating, and liaising with venders)
- Understanding of supply chain procedures
- Capability to lead and direct multi-disciplinary and culturally diverse teams.
- Well-developed communication skills, both written and oral
