**The opportunity to join our team**

As our AI Delivery Lead, you’ll be the person who makes things happen - coordinating squads, removing roadblocks, and making real progress on complex AI builds. From proof-of-concepts to production-ready services, you’ll be accountable for getting things delivered. You’ll work across in-house builds, orchestration layers, microservices, and integrations, owning the delivery path and influencing how we build our AI stack from the ground up.

You'll also act as a bridge between data scientists, engineers, product owners, and architects, especially as we develop service-based architectures to enable AI use cases at scale.
- **Delivery Leadership**: Own and drive the delivery of AI-enabled initiatives, internal builds, and lab experiments. You’ll steer squads through uncertainty, unblock issues fast, and keep outcomes on track.
- **AI Infrastructure**: Help shape and deliver the services-based architecture we’re building. That includes microservices, orchestration, and integration into front-end and backend layers.
- **Execution at Pace**: This is not a theoretical strategy role. You’ll roll up your sleeves and make things happen - testing, iterating, and pushing through ambiguity.
- **Stakeholder Alignment**: Translate business problems into delivery actions. Bring together architects, data scientists, engineers, and business leaders around shared objectives.
- **Product Ownership**: Act as the product owner where needed - especially on early-stage builds or AI capabilities where scope and roadmap are still being formed.
- **Innovation with Purpose**: Drive experimentation, but always through the lens of business impact and technical feasibility.

**What You Bring to This Role**
- Proven delivery experience across the full software lifecycle (SDLC), ideally including AI or data-driven projects.
- Strong technical grounding in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure) and familiarity with modern architecture (microservices, orchestration layers, API-based systems).
- Exposure to AI/ML tooling and platforms (e.g., AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, Vertex AI, etc.) or a strong understanding of how AI fits into cloud-native development.
- Experience delivering in agile environments: Scrum, Kanban, and everything that makes Jira tick.
- Excellent stakeholder and team leadership skills. You're the person who gets things moving and keeps them there.
- Bonus Points:

- Experience with MLOps, data pipelines, or embedding AI models into enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with AI governance and ethical AI frameworks in a regulated industry.
- Finance or superannuation background—helpful for understanding enterprise use cases, though not essential.
