About the Role

We're seeking an AI Product Lead to bridge business strategy with technical execution. This is not just an AI engineering role — it's about owning outcomes and driving tangible business impact. You will identify high-value use cases, build AI solutions, and create the governance and internal capability to make AI a trusted, scalable part of our business.

You'll work across all business units - manufacturing, engineering, finance, sales, support - to deliver measurable results. You'll design, develop, and deploy AI agents, automation tools, and copilots that integrate with our Microsoft stack (Azure, M365, D365) and operational systems, while ensuring data protection and compliance.

This is a high-visibility role that offers the opportunity to shape the company's AI strategy and deliver measurable results.

Key Outcomes

  • Develop an AI roadmap aligned to executive priorities, with prioritised pilots and measurable ROI targets.
  • Deliver 2–3 working AI pilots delivered in Year 1 with demonstrable adoption and time/margin savings.
  • Establish a governance framework in place for safe and compliant AI use.
  • Launch a "Citizen AI Builder" program established to grow internal capability.
  • Create reusable frameworks, APIs, and processes for faster future AI delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with executives and BU leaders to identify and prioritise AI opportunities.
  • Own AI pilot lifecycle — scope, design, develop, deploy, measure.
  • Build AI agents and automation using n8n, Relevance AI, Azure OpenAI, and other tools.
  • Integrate AI with D365, M365, and operational data platforms.
  • Define and enforce AI governance, security and compliance policies.
  • Train and mentor IT team and BU champions in AI tools and best practices.
  • Track, analyse, and report ROI metrics to the AI Steering Group.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record of delivering business-impact technology solutions (manufacturing/engineering preferred).
  • Hands-on AI/automation build experience - LLMs, RAG, workflow platforms.
  • Strong business analysis skills - process mapping, requirements gathering, ROI calculation.
  • Experience with Azure services, Microsoft Graph API, and D365 integrations.
  • Knowledge of AI governance, data protection and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, capable of engaging with executives and cross functional teams
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to drive innovation and change in a fast paced environment.
