**Creative Social Media Marketing Coordinator | Crows Nest | Part time**

This is a full time position where you will have a dedicated office in Crows Nest but will be required to move between our centre locations.

The role is flexible, so you will have the autonomy to work from home when required. This is an outstanding opportunity for a talented, self-motivated, creative marketing coordinator who is looking to become an integral part of the Orchard ELC Marketing Team. The successful person will be able to assist with campaign creative, social media direction and events planning, as well a number of creative service specific administration tasks. Reporting to the General Manager, the Creative Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating, planning, creating, implementing and evaluating design and marketing initiatives for the Orchard ELC brand. You will be focused on creating a high quality brand aesthetic appeal, generating customer engagement and creative social media content that drives new childcare enrolment enquiries.

The overview of the role includes but are not limited to:

- Assisting the General Manager and Operations Manager with the implementation of the overall Orchard ELC marketing strategy and vision to deliver innovative concepts and high-quality designs from brief to completion for both internal and external use.
- Assisting with various marketing and media projects in line with project deadlines and internal and external stakeholders. These will be varied as the company grows and include planning and co ordinating internal centre events and open days.
- Regularly monitor user engagement trends, explore new digital media platforms and ensure that Orchard ELC remains at the forefront of the sector.
- Well-versed in all our main social media platforms - Youtube, Facebook, Instagram (includes creating Reels, Stories)
Experience using Canva, Mailchimp and Eventbrite will be highly regarded.
- Provide data analysis to drive decision making. Including Facebook insights, Google Analytics, other Google platforms, enrolment trends, competitor analysis.
- Talent in copywriting is crucial
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Flexible and open-minded, you are willing to do whatever is needed to help the team succeed
- Developing printed and digital content (eg. printed flyers, booklets, one-pagers, whitepapers, blog posts, newsletters, slide decks, videos etc), social media posts and much more
- Design and maintain the pages of the website
- Developing an array of supporting content, social media campaigns, videos and icons, documents, animations
- Support with events
- Work within brand guidelines to create original looks and styles
- Undertake other administrative and communication tasks as required or directed
- Travel to each centre to ensure consistency with our brand (costs associated are covered by us)
- Regularly monitor user engagement trends, explore new digital media platforms and ensure that Orchard ELC remains at the forefront of the sector

This stand alone role reports to the General Manager and is based at our head office in Crows Nest, frequent travel to support our Sydney centres will be required.

**About You**
- More than 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Degree/Diploma in Marketing or Graphic Design.
- Highly creative person with experience in understanding target audiences and designing campaigns that engage, inform and motivate potential customers to take action.
- High level of proficiency in Adobe CS - InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat, and Illustrator.
- High level of proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite programs.
- Experience working with programs such as Canva to develop an asset library.
- Experience working with WordPress and editing websites.
- Able to communicate ideas clearly and convincingly at all levels within the organisation.
- Ability to persist and remain focussed when performing under pressure.
- A proven track record in implementing successful campaigns across multiple marketing mediums
- Exceptional verbal, visual and written communication skills, and the ability to confidently write copy for various mediums as well as both internal and external stakeholders.
- Previous experience in the education sector highly desirable, but not necessary.
