**The Role**

The role will lead, with the support of project teams, the development of materials including briefs, briefing notes, correspondence requests, and other government requirements to support our projects. You will also provide advice that demonstrates a high level of awareness of government priorities and processes as they relate to Development Victoria (DV).

Furthermore, you will be responsible for:

- Building strong relationships with key external stakeholders to maintain clear and open lines of communication to best manage the day-to-day administration between Development Victoria and Ministerial Offices, Departments and Agencies.
- Coordinate and manage Departmental and Ministerial briefings, correspondence, advice, and Parliamentary, Cabinet and Committee matters across Development Victoria projects.
- Advise and support DV teams on the preferences and priorities of the Department, and Ministerial office.
- Undertake a broad range of administrative support tasks, including preparing documents, and reports, coordinating and minuting meetings and other general tasks, as required. Specifically, this includes but is not limited to:

- Liaison with Ministerial Offices and DV’s CEO/ED on meeting content and for all meetings between DV and the Ministerial offices.
- Attend Ministerial meetings as required and coordinate meeting actions with DV team members.

You will have the following:

- Prior experience in a Victorian Government Organisation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience in the preparation of timely, clear and concise presentations, briefing papers, and correspondence.
- Demonstrate capability to build and manage positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to identifying opportunities and risks, and an ability to identify innovative solutions to complex problems.
