We are seeking **HSEQ Officer **to be based in Sydney CBD. This offers an exciting opportunity to manage the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the BGIS' Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental Management for our key client.

To be successful for the required Security Clearance, you must be an **Australian Citizen**

**The Role**
- Ensure compliance with statutory and contractual obligations
- Maintain WHS system compliance
- Maintain Environmental system compliance
- Maintain BGIS processes, procedures and records on the BGIS Intranet page and the content for BGIS on-line WHSE services
- Report on WHSE management
- Investigate OH&E incidents
- Understand the WHSE requirements and processes for work tasks and the elimination of workplace hazards
- Participate in near miss, hazard and incident reporting and follow up on corrective actions

**Skills and Experience**
- Formal tertiary qualifications in Property, Commerce, Business or similar discipline
- Diploma in OH&S Management, or a Diploma or higher qualification in a relevant discipline
- Certificate IV in WHS Management
- Proven experience in conducting safety audits
- Working knowledge of WHS Management Systems and Environmental Management Systems
- Experience in construction, property management or facility management industries
