**Company Background**:
Our client are a leading Facilities Management company dedicated to delivering exceptional facilities solutions to their clients across the country. They are seeking an experienced State Manager to join their team in Sydney to oversee and optimise operations across multiple states, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery, and maintaining strong client relationships.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Leadership and Team Management**: Lead and inspire a team of soft services professionals, including janitorial, cleaning, pest control, landscaping, and more, across multiple states. Foster a positive work culture, encourage teamwork, and provide mentorship to enhance individual and team performance.
- **Operational Excellence**: Oversee the daily operations of soft services, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with company standards and industry regulations. Implement best practices and continuously improve processes to optimize service delivery.
- **Client Relationships**: Cultivate strong partnerships with clients, understanding their needs, and addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly. Regularly engage with clients to evaluate their satisfaction levels and identify opportunities for service improvement.
- **Budget and Resource Management**: Develop and manage budgets for soft services operations. Optimize resource allocation, control costs, and explore opportunities for cost-saving initiatives without compromising service quality.
- **Performance Monitoring and Reporting**: Implement performance metrics and monitoring systems to track key performance indicators (KPIs). Prepare regular reports on operational performance and present them to senior management.
- **Compliance and Safety**: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety protocols, and industry standards pertaining to soft services operations. Take proactive measures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all team members.
- **Training and Development**: Identify training needs and provide ongoing training and development opportunities to team members. Keep the team updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in soft services.
**Qualifications and Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in managing soft services operations across multiple states or regions.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of industry standards, best practices, and emerging trends in soft services.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
- Budget management and financial acumen.
- Familiarity with compliance and safety regulations in the facilities management industry.
- Ability to travel across states as needed.
