Lead the procurement activities through to strategic sourcing initiatives.

Our client is seeking a Procurement Partner to join their procurement team and lead the procurement activities through to strategic sourcing initiatives. You will create procurement plans based on internal needs and external supply opportunities, sourcing commodities, goods, and services. In this role you will monitor global trends, research new supply markets, and manage relationships with stakeholders, partners, and suppliers. You will also develop sourcing strategies, streamline processes, and drive change management projects. Participating in vendor selection, conducting negotiations, executing contracts and working closely with the Category, Contract & Vendor Manager to ensure compliance monitoring is a key aspect of the role. Additionally, you will be involved in developing presentations, maintaining vendor relationships, responding to audits and surveys, negotiation with vendors, and assessing the impact of sourcing decisions.
