As Assistant Designer at Ksubi, you will champion the ideation, design and creation of Ksubi’s unique offerings, will be customer focused, commercial and coordinate product ranges that both grow sales, and position Ksubi as first and best in market.

**A Day in the Life**
- Providing trend and market research,
- Working on strategic projects and product collaborations including SMU.
- Assist garment techs in fit sessions, executing garment fit and technical design comments and feedback
- Create accurate line sheets, style development files, fabric libraries
- Manage the development sample process and lead times and liaise with external vendors
- Work collaboratively with the broader design team to ensure on time development of seasonal ranges
- Minimize risk of timeline delays by pro-actively identifying risks and escalating them as needed

This is you if you have
- 1+ years’ experience at Design Assistant or Assistant Designer level
- Have an excellent understanding of streetwear/luxury market
- Proven experience in executing commercially successful product
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, fit and têxtile development
- Prior experience and working knowledge of successful retailers
- Advanced Adobe skills - Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign
- Degree or Diploma qualification in Fashion Design is desirable
- Self-starter - driven to make a mark, leave the role bigger then when you started it
- Open to mentoring, coaching and hungry to learn from others
- Driven to constantly improve - ourselves and how things are done
- Can do attitude, solution driven and takes initiative
