About the role
Sitting in the Operations Function, the Facilities Manager is responsible for executing the day to day operational requirements of the Nando’s restaurant network with respect to facilities operations. You will ensure that all restaurant assets and equipment are operational and maintained in conjunction with restaurant teams and respective contractors to ensure we can Run Restaurants Brilliantly.
In everything you do you will continually evaluate how we design and execute our facilities model, by challenging and reviewing how we manage our restaurant assets & equipment. You will have a mindset to continually look for and implement workstreams to increase efficiency and generate value for the broader Nando’s business.
Key Responsibilities- Contractor Relationship _
- Management_ - Provide data and insights across the entire restaurant estate & leverage these insights to highlight inconsistent processes. Assist with contractor review and monitor performance levels;- Activities_ - Manage day to day Work orders through R&M portal as well as monitor and manager reactive & preventative maintenance schedule for each restaurant;- Sustainability_ - Work with key suppliers to execute the carbon footprint, animal welfare and social responsibility tasks as defined by the Nando’s ANZ Sustainability SteerCo;- Contractor Complaint Recording & _
- Reporting_ - Manage the data extraction and reporting of actuals and trends for contractor performance and highlight non-conforming contractors to enable resolution.
Who are we looking for?- Previous Facilities Management Experience, proficient user of operational systems;- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels internally within the organisation, and externally with the supplier base;- Self-starter and finisher, with the ability to be flexible and forward thinking to help expedite and anticipate activities;- Ability to view own activities with a ‘whole of business’ perspective, rather than a simple, self-centric view of what success or good looks like.

This is a full-time permanent position and we are looking for someone who is based in either Perth or Melbourne. If you from Melbourne you will be based in our awesome office in Abbotsford with flexible work arrangements or in Perth this would be a working from home role.
