**THE COMPANY**
Ora Banda Mining (ASX: OBM) is a uniquely positioned gold exploration and development company as 100% owner of the Davyhurst Gold Project in the highly productive Eastern Goldfields region of Western Australia. The Davyhurst project is located 120km northwest of Kalgoorlie in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia. The project area holds significant regional exploration potential in a District Scale land holding comprised of over 200 tenements, covering an area of 1,350km2 which contains more than 200 kilometres of strike within a highly prospective greenstone belt.

**THE ROLE**
Applications are sought for a highly experienced Open Pit Mining Shift Supervisor, which will see you working on a 2:1 roster. The shift supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day open pit mining operations and performance of the mining fleet, to ensure production targets are being achieved. Our ideal Shift Supervisor will have strong communication and problem-solving skills, and extensive experience in open pit mining.

The Open Pit Shift Supervisor will report to the Open Pit Superintendent and ensure that all activities are carried out to the highest standards of Safety. They will complete prestart meetings as required and develop daily and weekly plans to achieve deadlines.

The responsibilities of this role will include:

- Ensure that all activities are carried out to the highest standard of safety in accordance with Company policies and workplace safety and environmental regulations
- Day to day supervision of the open pit mining activities to ensure production targets are being met
- Engaging with operators during pre-shift briefings to ensure that daily targets and priorities are communicated
- Monitor equipment usage, maintenance records and availability
- Conducting regular site inspections and prestart meetings as required
- Monitor safety performance and implement corrective actions to ensure safe work practice
- Identifying and reporting incidents, accidents and hazards
- Monitor stockpiles and material movement to ensure that approved mining sequences are being followed
- Identifying deviations from target operating practice and directing remedial actions
- Monitor the completion of daily production records
- Ensure compliance with daily and weekly plans
- Actively promote a safe working culture
- Other duties as required

**ABOUT YOU**
To be considered for the role, you will have the following qualifications, skills, and experience:

- Demonstrated supervisory experience in managing teams in an open pit environment
- A proven history successfully overseeing the operational performance of an open pit mine
- Have an excellent working knowledge of open pit earthmoving fleet and equipment, with experience on Excavators and Dozers as a minimum
- Must have gold mining experience
- Ability to lead and work well under pressure
- Winning mindset
- Problem solving skills
- Strong organisation and communication skills
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office
- Current WA manual driver’s licence.

**ELIGIBILITY**:

- Must be willing to obtain a National Police Clearance valid within 6 months
- Reside in WA or willing to relocate at own cost.
