**The role and what we are looking for**
We are looking for a proactive and customer service focused individual to join our established claims team on a permanent full time basis. Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
- Acting as the customers' first point of contact for claims support;
- Receiving a high volume of inbound phone calls and actioning calls as required;
- Managing and actioning a high volume of claim notifications and service enquiries;
- Acknowledging the receipt of claims and lodging new claims;
- Appointing relevant assessors and suppliers to claims;
- Updating claims in the system as required and ensuring relevant tasks are allocated to the Claims Officer;
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external customers, and;
- Assisting the team by providing administrative support as needed.
