**Property and Compliance Officer**
**Job Type: 6-month contract**
**Hours: Full-time,**
**Salary: $70,000 + salary + salary packaging**
**Location: Lake Macquarie**
**Ideal Start: ASAP**

Hays have partnered with a local community services and aged care provider that operate across Newcastle, the Hunter, and Central Coast. We are looking for a motivated and experienced Administration professional to join the Property Team for a 6-month contract position, starting as soon as possible
**Your new role**
- Provide administrative support to the Property Team, including:
- Receive and respond to property enquiries in a timely manner or escalate as needed.
- Review and recommend for approval, Development Applications (DA), Construction Certificates (CC), Complying Development Certificates (CDC), Leases, memorandum of understanding and user agreements.
- Ensuring that property processes are followed and met in line with business Regulations, By-laws, Property Policy, and statutory requirements.
- Facilitate information and approvals as per business procedures and follow-up correspondence with the appropriate person/s internally and externally.
- Generate reports on property information.
- Prepare documents and information for review and approval.
- Assisting to undertake reviews of properties where invited.
- Liaising with local councils and other property consultants.
- Undertaking adhoc administration duties as directed.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous experience working in a and administration or customer service role in the property industry.
- Experience with maintenance team operations, requests and processes.
- Tech-savvy, with experience using Adobe and the MS Office Suite (MEX and Chintaro would also be desirable)
- Customer-centric approach to your work, ensuring a high level of service is maintained across the business.
- Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Present yourself professionally at all times.
- Understanding of the property industry and council processes would be highly beneficial.
