**Job Description**:
SGS is seeking a highly motivated and experienced **Field Technician** to join our team in a full-time role based in Brisbane, with the flexibility to travel across Australia. To develop and implement field services in line with Environmental business plan (Gas sampling, Water sampling & monitoring; Soil sampling; Air sampling & monitoring; Occupational Hygiene sampling & monitoring; waste sampling & monitoring).

Your key responsibilities in this role will include but are not limited to:

- Plan, coordinate, schedule and perform field sampling and monitoring activities in conjunction with the Australian Field Services Manager
- Undertake field sampling activities throughout Australia as required in accordance with Company procedures.
- Maintain sampling equipment as required ensuring it is correctly serviced, repaired and properly calibrated with appropriate documentation.
- Build and maintain good working relationships with all clients.
- Undertake quoting and project management of field programs.
- Assist with client enquiries.
- Checking of reports and results prior to release to clients.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2 years of field related experience
- Understanding of laboratory practices
- Current first aid certificate
- Current unrestricted drivers licence
