An opportunity exists to join our team as a **Meter Services Officer/Field Technician**, with flexible start and finish times on weekdays. Work is located around the Brisbane area.

**About the role**

Skilltech has a challenging casual opportunity with no previous experience required. You will be driving to specific locations across the Brisbane Metropolitan area undertaking water meter installations, exchange, testing and other associated data recording activities. Meter Services Field Technicians work in all weather conditions so you will need to be comfortable working outdoors. The recruitment process includes reference-, police
- and a health check. Fit for Purpose details will be provided outlining the physical demands of the role.

**About you**
- Hold a valid Driver’s Licence
- Have a reliable vehicle capable of safely transporting tools and equipment of 150kg in weight and 1m3 volume
- Ideally you will have some experience working with your hands and using basic plumbing hand tools (landscapers, handyperson, general tradespersons, etc)
- Have a high regard for health, safety, environment and quality. Medical Checks apply
- Be self motivated and able to work autonomously
- Be reliable, punctual and able to meet deadlines
- Have excellent customer service skills
- Have the ability to obtain a satisfactory criminal history check
