APG is currently seeking an experience Modeller (Water / Wastewater) for a 6 Month contract within a Parramatta Government Sector.

**$100p/h + Super**

**7.6 hours per day / 38 hours per week**

**The Role**:

- Acquisition, distribution and validation of asset data for modelling purposes
- Point of contact for distribution and collection of modelling outcomes within LCS and external customers/partners
- SLA management for information and insights output delivery
- Change management of data used in Analytics & Spatial teams
- Accountable for the data interfaces with Maximo BI.
- Troubleshoots data issues and data related outages
- Resolves asset data issues working with other teams within Asset Knowledge team (Information Management Team).
- Identifies and prioritises data quality issues impacting AK governed models
- Defines and maintains change management processes for new and existing model services
- Management of changes to data and in tools used for modelling

- Experience with data integration tools
- Deep understanding of data models specifically asset and location data models
- Creation of data models
- Integration of data from various sources

**Experience**
- Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages and Business Intelligence tools, preferably SAP Business Objects
- Experience with data that is used in asset management in water utility context
- Experience in the management of change to analytical software and tools
- Experience in the preparation of data and analytical tools for use by business to test scenarios,
hypotheses and generate information and business insights.

**Additional knowledge and skills**
- MS Excel: Intermediate level, knowledge of pivot tables, functions such as vlookup etc.
- MS Access: Intermediate level
- SQL experience: Intermediate - Advanced level
- Light data cleansing and transformation (ETL)
- Experience with spatial data and Geographical Information System (GIS) technology (MapInfo, ArcGIS Explorer etc.) to plan and manage assets and operations
- Experience with asset data for water, wastewater and/or recycled water management
