**Carlitas Care Services** is seeking a highly motivated disability support worker to work with our team of Disability Support Workers in the **Parramatta** and **Penrith** areas. The Disability Support Worker provides support to NDIS participants to assist them in achieving goals set out in their NDIS plans.

**Position Requirements**:

- A passion for working with people with a disability
- Experience in Disability Support Work and Aged Care
- Qualifications in the Disability and/or Aged Care Sector
- Ability to work with a diverse team
- Willingness to travel
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Working with Children Check
- National Police Check
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- MUST HAVE your own vehicle and current driver’s license (minimum P plate license)

**Position Duties**:

- Assist participants to complete Self-Care and Domestic activities
- Assist participants to engage in Community, Social and Recreational Activities
- Perform other tasks including meal preparation and cooking
- Build rapport with the participants and their families
- Ensure strict confidentiality is maintained for the participants and their families
- Complete daily shift notes for participants
- Manage your own safety and the team's safety whilst on the job
- Ensures adherence to organisation policies & procedures and all relevant government legislation and standards

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour

**Benefits**:

- Travel reimbursement

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Christmas bonus
- Overtime pay
