It’s an exciting time for tennis in Australia and we have ambitious plans to continue to grow the game from grassroots through to high performance. We are transforming how we deliver tennis, with the aim of making it more accessible, to more people, more often. To help us achieve our plan we are looking for a Competitive Play Coordinator to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

About the role

Reporting to the National Competitive Play Manager, this role will be responsible for the support and promotion of the national framework and pathways for all forms of competitive tennis. You will oversee the day-to-day management and long-term development of the competitive play educational resources and reporting processes for the competitive play team.
- Develop and implement a process to endorse and promote leagues/team tennis across the country.
- Working with the National team and Member Associations, support the growth of team tennis offerings in line with our national participation strategy.
- Coordinate workshops with suitable stakeholders to collectively determine the needs for team tennis competitive play.
- Oversee the day-to-day registration and administration process for the competitive play team. Including coloured ball competitions, team tennis & the Junior Tour.
- Responsible for all data, insights and reporting for the competitive play team.
- In collaboration with the internal Digital Team, ensure the competitive play training guides and resources are up to date and user friendly.

- Preparedness to be flexible with regard to working hours, particularly during peak times and events.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Alignment with the Tennis values of Excellence, Humility, Collaboration and Imagination.
- You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
