It’s an exciting time for tennis in Australia and we have ambitious plans to continue to grow the game from grassroots through to high performance. We are transforming how we deliver tennis, with the aim of making it more accessible, to more people, more often. To help us achieve our plan we are looking for a State Pathway Coordinator to join our team at Tennis Victoria.

About the role

Reporting to the Competitive Play/Pathways Lead, in this role you will:

- Support our Competitive Play program through the review, evaluation, and innovation of all Victorian Competitive Play opportunities
- Communicate and educate the Victorian aspirational player pathway to stakeholders
- Work closely with the Tennis Australia talent team to identify Victorian playing opportunities and ensure development programs are accessible
- Liaise with the coaching network and relevant development programs to educate and promote the Victorian player pathway to aspiring Victorian players across the state
- Promote Tennis Victoria tournaments, competitions, and events to all players, affiliated clubs, centres, associations, and country regions, and represent Tennis Australia at events as required
- Maintain and update Tournament Planner Software and other relevant technology

About you

What you will bring to the role:

- Experience in delivering competitions across various platforms (tennis or non-tennis)
- You’ll be people orientated, comfortable with public speaking, and have exceptional interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in the use of tennis software (preferred)
- Alignment with the Tennis values of Excellence, Humility, Collaboration, and Imagination
- You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
- Must hold a current Drivers Licence
