**About the role**:
The Project Officer role sits in the AOD Policy and Programs Unit and plays a key part in supporting the successful delivery of strategic projects in the AOD Policy Team. The role has diverse responsibilities within this high-performing strategic policy team, including a focus on government processes, project management support, and administrative activities related to strategy implementation including secretariat for advisory and governance groups.
To be successful in this role, you will be a high performing team member with strong analytical, written, problem solving, project management and communication skills. inform government decision making, along with the ability to work flexibly to respond to a range of emerging issues and evolving priorities.

**About you**:
- A tertiary qualification in fields related to public policy, health administration or project management is desirable.
- A strong understanding of Victorian government context and processes, and/or the health, mental health, or AOD sectors.
