Hiring a Project Officer to work within Victoria State Government
Start: ASAP/after serving notice period
Contract: 20 months (long term)

**Your new role**
We have established a program to upgrade existing systems to modern technology platforms for greater efficiency, transparency and cost savings. This includes the implementation of Oracle Cloud Finance to replace the existing finance system.

The responsibilities of the Project Officer include:

- Work collaboratively with the Project Director to assist with day-to-day project management activities.
- Assist with secretariat duties for governance forums and including meeting scheduling, minutes capture and actions tracking.
- Assist document and maintain project management, administration processes and procedures
- Work with the Project Director, Team Leads and Vendors to review and maintain the Registers on a regular basis
- Collect and collate Project Status Reports from Team Leads and Vendor
- Prepare the Program Status Report
- Assists prepare and distribute Program Control Board (PCB) papers
- Assists manage and maintain the project knowledge repository
- Work closely and collaboratively with business and technical project team members, the broader Finance Team, the IT Team and Vendors.

**What you'll need to succeed**

- Assist document and maintain the project management and administration processes and procedures
- Prior experience as a Project Officer on a large technology implementation project
- Experienced in the use of Microsoft Project
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience preparing high quality documents and presentations for project colleagues and senior management
