**About the role**:
**This position is a Fixed-Term, Full-time role from 1 December 2025 to 30 June 2026.**

The Project Officer provides essential coordination and administrative support across five teams within the Insights unit. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth delivery of cross-team initiatives, effective stakeholder engagement, and the efficient operation of planning, reporting, and governance processes. The Project Officer will work closely with team managers and project leads to support strategic alignment and operational excellence across the unit.

Working as part of the Analytics Branch, the Project Officer will:

- Coordinate cross-team activities, timelines, and documentation to support planning, reporting, and delivery of initiatives across the Insights unit, ensuring alignment with departmental policies and governance frameworks.
- Support the Director and team managers in preparing reports, presentations, and briefings for executive leadership, governance committees, and external partners.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration across project teams, governance groups, and key stakeholders, ensuring timely information flow and issue resolution.
- Assist in the preparation and management of documentation and correspondence relating to the work of the Insights unit, including liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain project registers, risk logs, and action trackers to ensure visibility and accountability across the unit's work program.

**Mandatory**
- Experience in project coordination, preferably within the government sector, will be highly regarded.

**Desirable**
- Tertiary qualification in fields related to health administration, public policy or project management would be desirable.
