**What's the role?**

You'll be diving into the heart of Westpac's Group Investigations team, providing top-notch investigative and intelligence services. Your mission? To tackle internal staff malpractice, serious misconduct, and whistleblower investigations. You'll oversee comprehensive intel assessments, handle complex cases, and support the strategic agenda. This is a 12-month fixed term opportunity, based in either Sydney or Melbourne, you'll work full-time with a dynamic team that's all about making a difference. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment and is passionate about leveraging the latest technology and methodologies.

**What do I need?**
- 3-5+ years’ experience in a similar role (investigations or compliance).
- Experience in and understanding of compliance risk, compliance management frameworks, operational risk, and risk & compliance systems.
- Demonstrated experience in managing key and senior stakeholder relationships.
- Highly developed analytical skills and the ability to critically analyse business data and documentation.
- Advanced user of analytical tools such as Excel, Power BI, Analyst Notebook, Tableau, SQL, or similar.
