We are looking for a driven Public Relations & Communications Manager to join our team, based in either Sydney or Melbourne.

In this role you will be working closely with the Director of Communications and other members of the Communications team to manage and implement firm-wide strategic communications, with a focus on PR and profile raising initiatives. You will have a direct working relationship with Practice Group Leaders (senior partners), the Chief Marketing & Strategy officer, and the business development team to align media relations and other initiatives to our go-to-market strategy.

You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, sound judgement, be able to work under pressure, strong media relations and content development skills, strong campaign management capabilities, including the ability to be outcome oriented and deadline driven, and a professional and responsive approach to client service.

The role requires you to work well proactively and autonomously while also being a team player. You will be required to demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills and have the ability to influence, excellent attention to detail and follow-up skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting the Director of Communications on key strategic communication priorities (external communications).
The external promotion of key practice groups and practice group leaders with a focus on media relations and insight-based content,
Assisting in the delivery of other initiatives such as award submissions and corporate sponsorships, as relevant.

Required Qualifications and Experience

A communications degree or relevant business qualification
Minimum 7 years’ experience working in corporate communications
Strong media and content experience and demonstrable profile raising outcomes (either from in-house or agency roles)
Experience in the development and delivery of communication campaigns with a focus on measurable outcomes and commercial impact
People management experience not required but favourable
