**About the role**
We’re on the hunt for an energetic and driven contract Product Manager who’s into architecture, design, technology, and innovation.
Eco Outdoor is on a Digital Transformation journey, with the Technology team driving strategy, execution, and delivery. This is a crucial role for the right individual who will oversee the current and future vision of our website and related technology systems.
You’ll be managing internal stakeholders, external agencies, and SaaS partners to ensure our technology is match fit for the business both now and in the future.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced and proven Product Manager who is ready for their next challenge. This person needs to be able to think and see “the big picture” whilst also rolling up their sleeves and getting stuck in. You’ll be joining a highly motivated and passionate team and high energy businesses. There will be a huge opportunity for learning and development, with relevant training available as and where required.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Website Ownership: act as the product owner for our website, ensuring alignment with business goals and end user needs. You’ll be interfacing directly with our agency partner, prioritising and managing our website backlog, including user acceptance testing, and collaborating with cross functional teams within the business.
- Technology Systems Management: Manage key systems such as Bynder (Digital Asset Management), Contentstack (CMS), New Relic (ongoing monitoring) and others to ensure best-in-class integration, adoption, performance, and ROI.
- Project Management: We’re a small in-house technology team and there will be plenty of new and exciting technology projects that will need to be driven from idea inception through to delivery as part of this role.
- Partner Management: We work with many external partners, some of which are dispersed across multiple time zones. You’ll need to keep these third parties on task and on track to deliver value to the business.
- Business requirement gathering and stakeholder management: A key component of this role is to collaborate with key stakeholders across the business (e.g., Warehousing and Fulfilment, Marketing and Sales) to gather requirements which inform new technology enhancements and features.
**Skills and Experience**
- At least 2-years proven experience in Product Management
- Strong problem solving capability.
- Understanding and familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Project management
- Proficiency in technology requirements gathering and documentation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive and self-motivated with a strong attention to detail.
- Proven agency and vendor management experience
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
