**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- At least relevant AQF Cert III or Cert IV qualifications or equivalent OR
- Three (3) years employment experience as a production horticulturist.

**Position Summary**:
**On behalf of our client, Dojo Legal Australia**is looking for skilled and experienced **Production Horticulturists**who can use their knowledge and skills in horticultural farm and is responsible for the entire lifecycle of horticultural crops, from planting to harvest and post-harvest processing, ensuring high-quality produce and efficient operations.

This is a full-time position which may involve weekend or public holidays work and some unplanned hours of work where the need arises (paid accordingly).

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Ensure that all land preparations are done as per established procedures.
- Train/monitor operators where required to ensure tasks are done as per standard procedures.
- Prepare working programs daily/weekly/monthly to facilitate implementation of respective tasks.
- Assess quality of work and take corrective actions where applicable.
- Ensure that all material inputs are adequate for respective operations.
- Ensure the upkeep of all tractors and implements.
- Liaise with Farm Operation Manager/Agronomist/Maintenance Manager where required.
- Operate various tractors and implements.
- Identify and report unusual disease or plant pest signs.
- Operate pressurised irrigation systems.
- Coordinate horticultural crop harvesting.
- Fumigate soil.
- Manage, install drainage systems.
- Monitor and manage nursery plants.
- Operate spreading and seeding equipment.
- Must have at least 1 year hands-on horticulture or farming experience
- Must demonstrate a strong understanding of safe, efficient, and high-quality farming practices.
- A proactive and reliable team player, capable of working independently and contributing to productive horticultural operations.
- Must be committed to long-term work.
- White Card and machinery tickets (forklift, tractor) desirable.
- Good physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced outdoors environment in all weather conditions.
- Strong teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail.
