The Learning Consultant role will be responsible for supporting and driving the learning agenda across our divisions to ensure quality, high impact learning experiences are delivered and supporting business outcomes. These roles report into a learning Business Partner.
You will work closely with business stakeholder and theme teams to consult on learning needs, manage learning projects, provide data and insight into the effectiveness of the learning solutions and partner with the learning design consultants to solution design. You will be responsible for working in partnership with the Business Banking/Wealth or C&O & P&T L&D BPs and together embed the learning strategy into the divisional learning agenda.
**Key responsibilities**
- Work closely with the learning business partner and support them to drive the learning agenda across divisions.
- Engage business stakeholders to scope team/theme capability needs by using a data-led & HCD approach
- Partner with the Learning Design Consultants to solution design/curate innovative learning solutions, use Human Centred Design (HCD) techniques to ensure solutions meet the needs
- Project manage learning initiatives from inception to embedding including success measures (learning outcomes, costs, timelines etc.)
- Effectively communicate with key stakeholders on progress, formal reporting and broader updates
- Work with BPs to report on all learning happening across the environment I.e. internal, external, SME based
- Upskills SMEs to deliver high impact learning solutions
- Work with the operations team to pilot, gather feedback, implement learning solutions and measure impact to ensure ongoing effectiveness of learning initiatives
- Utilise data to showcase the value and impact of the learning solutions and showcase this to respective stakeholders
You’ll be someone who has a background in learning & development and experience in managing stakeholder relationships and consulting. Your understanding of instructional design and adult learning principles, alongside industry insights will enable you to deliver high impact learning experiences. You will be proactive in driving the learning agenda, can prioritise and manage multiple programs of work, build strong relationships and can engage a wide range of stakeholders to deliver outcomes. A team player who has a collaborative mindset and is willing to learn is a must
**Required skills**
- Commercial acumen
- Consulting and relationship management skills, including vendor management
- Experience in delivering great learning outcomes that tangibly impact business performance
- Pragmatic style, adapting best practice models and methodologies to fit business needs
- Strong written and verbal communication, including facilitation skills and the ability to write succinctly
- Experience in interpreting and drawing insights from data.
- Project management skills
