**About your role**
As the
**Warranty Coordinator** your role is responsible for facilitating the support for UGL rolling stock products during their warranty period of in-service operation. You will have the accountability for ensuring the supply chain and planning functions of the warranty team are met, while supporting the rolling stock products in achieving their reliability and availability requirements.
Reporting to the Warranty Manager, your responsibilities will include:
You will be required to provide material supply chain function for the warranty team including;
- o parts supply and repair
- manage parts supplier warranty
- support warranty spare parts management
- Provide resource planning function for the warranty team
- Contribute to the development, implementation and improvement of systems across the rolling stock build & delivery programme
- Ensure compliance with all record keeping requirements
**About you**
As the
Other skills and experience required will include:
- Knowledge of supply chain methods and practices
- Resource planning experience
- Strong systems and information management skills, in particular SAP stock management & planning functions
- Product knowledge within the rail rolling stock industry
- Knowledge of quality systems
- Sound ability to read and interpret data and present simple reports
- Strong communication skills (oral & written) and the ability to establish effective working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
