**About the position**

Council’s Safer Communities Department is looking for a Business Support Officer who will be responsible for providing timely, accurate and effective administration support to the Manager Safer Communities and safer Communities department.

The main responsibilities will include:

- Assist the Manager Safer Communities as required, including meeting minutes and agendas, general correspondence and general administrative tasks.
- Prepare reports, statistics and correspondence for statutory and internal requirements in a timely manner.

**About you**
- Excellent administrative and writing skills.
- A commitment to delivering an excellent standard of customer service.
- Strong business and administrative support experience, with high level organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands.
- Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of products.

This position is a Band 5 currently remunerated at $80,750.44 per annum, plus superannuation. Overtime will also be paid as required.
