**About the Company**

This NSW Government agency is a major service provider who strives to deliver a more consistent and efficient experience within government. This government agency uses data and behavioural insights to drive improvements with government and providing services to NSW. We are looking for someone to start ASAP for a 6-month contract paying $1000/Day + Super. This role is located in Sydney CBD/WFH.

**About the Role**

We are currently seeking to appoint a Vendor Manager with a leading NSW Government agency. This role is responsible for reviewing the existing Supplier Management function ensuring its processes are fit for purpose, reflect and facilitate effective supplier management across the integrated supply chain. Review the framework for commercial communications, and the management and maintenance of the relationship between the organisation and suppliers.

**Key accountabilities include**:

- Creating an environment in which the organisation and its suppliers collaborate to their mutual benefit, ensuring positive and effective working relationships are developed and maintained across the supply chain.
- Recommending the resources and tools required to conduct bench-marking.
- Reviewing existing processes for supplier analysis and assessing effectiveness across the supply chain.
- Reviewing how DCS oversees and measures the fulfilment of contractual obligations.
- Reviewing how DCS uses key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and challenge performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

**About You**
- 6-10 years vendor management experience
- Experience with Contract Management
- Proven skills with establishing Governance
- Experience with measuring and reporting on vendor performance
