As Vendor Manager, you’ll establish, maintain and manage effective business partnerships between ING, Strategic Business Partners (SBP) and Key Vendors. You’ll be responsible for the successful completion of applicable Third Party management activities impacting all steps of the lifecycle during the Third Party agreement to ensure that any local regulatory and Global Policy requirements are met.
We’re looking for someone with a sound understanding of commercial and retail lending practices, awareness of local regulatory requirements for third party suppliers and experience in managing material outsourcing contracts along with related procurement and contractual frameworks and practices.

**What you’ll do**
- Be accountable for completion of applicable outsourcing activities on all steps of the lifecycle of the outsourcing agreement and ensure that any regulatory requirements relating to outsourcing are met.
- Coordinate and manage changes to supplier and third party management processes driven by policy, regulations or improvement opportunities.
- Identify and assess supplier and third party risks, working with Retail, Tech and Operations teams to plan and mitigate risks and manage business continuity (in coordination with the Business Continuity Manager).
- High engagement with SBP and key vendors to facilitate efficient resolutions to any issues and events that arise.
- Working with procurement on negotiating, managing and monitoring contracts inclusive of service level agreements (SLAs) for key vendors.
- Identify areas for cost improvement through development of a category strategy.
**What we’re looking for**
- Previous experience in vendor relationship management, procurement, or similar will be essential to this role.
- A background in financial services would be highly regarded but not essential.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
- Proven experience in managing to a budget, forecasting and planning with conflict resolution & negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and on multiple deliverables
- High attention to detail with the ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities
