- You'll lead a team to provide efficient and quality secondary system design services for Powerlink.
- You'll be responsible for resource planning and coordination (internal and outsourced) to ensure timely secondary systems design delivery and successful project outcomes.
- You'll ensure the secondary systems design team members continue to develop their knowledge and skills to meet Powerlink’s secondary systems design standards
- You'll manage people and delivery of the secondary systems design team including task assignment, performance monitoring, review, coaching, teamwork and training to ensure a consistently high standard of team performance.

**Your expertise**:

- You'll have a degree in Electrical Engineering and be a Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ) in a relevant field of expertise
- You'll have experience in leading and developing professional design staff who provide support services to large infrastructure projects, preferably in electricity transmission.
- You'll have the ability to provide expert secondary systems design services through the utilisation of internal and outsourced resources. You'll have the demonstrated ability to work within a complex technical environment and undertake complex problem solving to ensure optimal design outcomes are achieved.
