**Advisor, Procurement & Contracts**

Are you a strong advocate for governance, compliance and good practice in procurement and contract management? Do you enjoy working closely with stakeholders to enhance business outcomes? We are looking for an Advisor, Procurement & Contracts who can provide advice and support across the agency while validating stakeholder business needs You will be joining a specialised and professional team that supports MHNSW to achieve its goals.

**What the opportunity is**:

- Employment with Museums of History NSW, NSW Department of Enterprise, Investment and Trade.
- Clerk Grade 7/8 - $126,785. Package includes salary ($101,947 - $112,849), employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
- Full-time ongoing employment
- The role will work across the Sydney area.

**What we do**
MHNSW brings together the museums, historic houses and associated collections previously in the care of Sydney Living Museums with the vast collection of more than 13 million items held by the former NSW State Archives. This includes one of the world’s most complete and important collections documenting colonisation.

**What you’ll do with us**
This role will assist stakeholders to plan, develop, source and manage procurement arrangements, enabling them to effectively identify resource requirements and align support activities to meet business needs and government directions.

**What the essential requirements of the role are**
- Experience in providing procurement and contract advice and/or relevant qualifications.
- Experience in maintaining records and developing reports.
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
- Willingness to work across and ability to travel to multiple work locations.

- Outline your experience undertaking procurements in compliance with NSW Government policies and directions. What documentation did you prepare prior to, during and after these procurements?
- Give an example of a procurement you have worked on that required you to engage and work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders. Describe the initiative, how you obtained stakeholder buy in, and outcomes of the procurement.
