**CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER**

- Our client, an established and profitable organisation operating in the Medtech sector, have created a strong brand, and a sound reputation for delivering shareholder value. With both manufacturing and retail operations across Australia, they have developed a robust and sustainable, fully integrated supply chain. To date, their growth has been privately funded, however they have now reached a stage where they are going to market to raise capital via IPO to support their future expansion plans. As such, they are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified individual in the role of Chief Financial Officer._
- This newly created role of Chief Financial Officer will be reporting to the CEO and the Board. The incumbent will be responsible t_o develop and implement a strategic plan for the financial prosperity of the company, and to ensure the provision of sound financial management, planning, accounting, and budgeting practices that create and maintain shareholder value. They will also be required to minimize the company’s risk and liabilities, and enhance the overall financial interests of the company in support of its objectives. _In addition, this role is required to_ oversee and direct the upcoming IPO, and support capital raising initiatives and any other corporate transactions_ _required by the organisation_._

**The Position**:

- Build robust and realistic financial and cashflow models and forecasts to support IPO activities;
- Provide strategic financial advice and guidance to the CEO, the Board and other key stakeholders in relation to IPO activities;
- Develop robust plans to support the implementation of cashflow models;
- Work with the finance team to implement sound financial policies ad procedures to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting;
- Create systems to support financial transparency across all entities, and develop robust consolidated reporting models;
- Develop and direct the implementation of strategic business and/or operational plans, projects, programs and systems in all areas of Finance;
- Support manufacturing operations with adaptable profitability models and forecasts.

**Experience**:

- Proven success in the leadership of a finance function through an IPO process within a multifaceted organisation;
- Experience working with multiple entities with the capability to design and implement consolidated reporting structures;
- Demonstrated capability to design and develop robust and realistic financial models, cash flow forecasts and implementation plans in an integrated supply chain environment;
- Experience in supporting an organisation through an IPO process.

**The Person**:

- Formal qualifications in Commerce, Accounting or Business related discipline with post graduate qualifications in CA or CPA essential;
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a CFO role in a manufacturing/production environment highly desirable;
- Proven track record of success in the design and management of cash flow, and operational financial models to support an IPO;
- Understanding of ASX reporting requirements;
- Experience in pharmaceutical/Medtech/biotech industries an advantage;
- Solid understanding of financial regulatory and legislative requirements;
- Highly competent in Excel and other Microsoft programs;
- Success in building and developing a team, with superior oral and written communication capability.
