REC Equine Specialists is a leading specialist equine veterinary practice providing the highest quality veterinary services to the greater Sydney area.

The position is located at Horsley Park where we have recently moved into our state-of-the-art equine veterinary hospital.

The position

This full time position is responsible for the day-to-day Accounts Payable function and related administrative tasks.

Your new role

Reporting directly to the Accountant, key accountabilities include:

- Coding and processing of supplier invoices in a timely manner
- Credit card statement reconciliations and coding
- Preparation of EFT and cheque payment runs, ensuring that payments are scheduled for release dates according to company cash flow requirements
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders regarding supplier invoice queries or payment matters
- Maintaining supplier master data files within financial reporting software ensuring absolute integrity
- Ensuring all period end processes are within the correct accounting period and processed accurately
- General ledger account reconciliation

What you'll need to succeed:

- Minimum 4 years accounts payable experience
- Ability to reconcile to supplier statements is essential
- MYOB skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise
- Excellent communication skills and phone manner
- Strong computer skills
- Enthusiastic and reliable team player
- Pleasant and hard-working disposition

Working hours are 8:30am to 4:30pm (would consider part-time/fulltime or contract)

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
