The Graduate Commercial Advisor will provide analytical and strategic commercial support to business stakeholders, ensuring sound decision-making and optimal commercial outcomes for the organisation.

The Graduate Commercial Advisor will be involved with:

- Conduct market research and analysis to identify business opportunities and potential risks
- Support the development and review of commercial agreements and contracts
- Prepare financial models, business cases, and cost-benefit analyses
- Assist in commercial negotiations and bid preparations
- Develop presentations and reports for management and stakeholders
- Monitor project milestones and deliverables to ensure commercial objectives are met
- Support the evaluation of potential partners, suppliers, or acquisition targets
- Assist in the development of pricing strategies and commercial frameworks
- Maintain commercial documentation and databases
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the commercial function

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Economics, Finance, or related field

**Knowledge, skills and experience**

**Knowledge**:

- Understanding of commercial and contract principles
- Knowledge of financial analysis and modelling
- Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and practices
- Understanding of basic project management principles

**Skills**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment

**Experience**:

- Internship or entry-level experience in commercial, business development, or related field
- Experience with financial modelling and analysis
- Exposure to contract review and negotiation
- Background in preparing business cases and presentations

**Desired Additional Experience**
- Experience in the energy sector
- Familiarity with commercial management software
- Previous involvement in tender or bid processes
- Experience in stakeholder management
