SJA is a leading construction and engineering project advisory and delivery services consultancy. With offices around Australia, New Zealand and select international locations, we have a track record of more than 20 years specialising in providing Expert & Advisory, Planning & Programming, Project Management, and Quantity Surveying services across all sectors of the construction and engineering industries.
SJA Advisors are aspiring construction professionals, from diverse industry backgrounds; our Advisors are typically Quantity Surveyors & Contract Administrators.
As an SJA Advisor, you will have the opportunity to work on a broad spectrum of different and challenging assignments, gain experience, broaden your career horizons, and be recognised and rewarded for your high performance.
In addition to professionalism, enthusiasm, strong English language skills (spoken and written) and a high level of self-motivation, all applicants will need to demonstrate the following:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (preferably in quantity surveying, engineering, law, or commercial/construction management);
- Not less than 5-10 years of relevant post-graduate employment experience with recognised tier 1 and 2 construction contractors or reputable consultancies;
- Willingness to work individually or in dynamic team environments for our clients (from either SJA CBD offices or deployment to client projects);
- Competence in a broad range of commercial management activities, including works package procurement, head contract and supply chain administration, assessment and valuation of variations, preparation of payment claims etc;
- A strong emphasis on data accuracy and completeness.
