**About the role**
**Based at our Mascot headquarters** and reporting directly to the **National Manager, Remuneration & Benefits**, you’ll be responsible for ensuring employee remuneration is in alignment with company policies and guidelines, is competitive, and compliant with legal requirements.
**Your typical day will involve tasks like**:
- Job evaluations and benchmarking
- Market data survey and analysis
- Spreadsheet analysis and reporting
- Process Exception approvals
- Liaising with Payroll, Finance, Employee Relations, and others
- Promoting best practice remuneration management and decision making
You will be an important point of contact for internal stakeholders for queries regarding new contracts, incentive plans, benefits, and policies.
**About you**
Whether you are a recent university graduate or a veteran of similar roles, there are a couple of things we think will ensure you succeed in this job and help you decide if this is the right career path for you.
- Tertiary qualifications or a **background in HR**:
- An unwavering love of **Excel **pivot tables and formulas
- Able to turn data into** Powerpoint **presentations that tell a story
- Familiarity with the **NES and Awards **is beneficial
- An analytical mind and strong numeracy skills
- Clear and concise communication skills
- Impeccable attention to detail
