**The Role**

Reporting directly to the EGM Development/M&A, the Commercial Analyst role forms an integral part of the team, which is responsible for development and implementation of REMONDIS’s mergers and acquisitions strategy.

**Key responsibilities of the role include**:

- Developing projections, reports and presentations regarding considered mergers and acquisitions
- Performing financial forecasting and modelling
- Discussing M&A opportunities with Senior Management
- Preparing detailed evaluations of Merger and Acquisition targets, and preparation of proposals to the board
- Organising and conducting due diligence in cooperation with Senior Management and Consultants
- Coordinating key internal and external stake holders
- Assist in REMONDIS Australia's market monitoring and market analysis
- Conducting post merger / acquisition / project analysis
- Assisting with post-merger integration

**About you**:

- You hold a tertiary qualification in Accounting
- You’ve got a couple of years solid experience in an accounting, due diligence (consulting) or financial analysis role, with strong business partner skills and the ability to confidently articulate basic accounting functions such as debits, credits, etc
- You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively partner and liaise with a range of key stakeholders at various levels
- You’ve got well developed organisational, planning, time management and administrative skills
- You’ve got well-developed computer skills with great proficiency in Excel
- You’re enthusiastic and highly motivated
