In this role, you'll:

Engage with stakeholders at varying levels of seniority to inform and prioritise business and customer outcomes for the regulatory schemes.

Bring structure and clarity to evolving business requirements in a complex regulatory transformation project

Lead the gathering, analysis and documenting of business requirements, user stories etc to ensure that the team can deliver on outcomes.

Document business analysis artefacts, including operational procedures.

This important role forms part of the Regstar26 program that is creating a foundation to position Transport for NSW as the Regulator of the future. RegStar 26 brings together our focus on transforming priority regulatory schemes, Mobility Parking Scheme, Bus Operator Accreditation Scheme, Bus Driver Authority, Driving Instructor Licencing Scheme, Dealer Vehicle Registration Scheme and the Authorised Inspection Scheme.

The roles are responsible for working within the program to contribute to the design of the future state regulatory ecosystem, capabilities and processes.

The roles will represent Transport's strategic and operational interests within the program and will provide specialist business analysis to influence transformative outcomes. This will be done by engaging with relevant stakeholders including regulatory experts and IT delivery teams to understand their requirements, and priorities in design and delivery of the future regulatory system.

The roles play a pivotal role in interpreting and translating business needs into actionable insights, helping shape high-quality outcomes across multiple workstreams.

This is a fixed term opportunity until 30 September 2026.

We have an immediate requirement to fill roles and will be looking to develop a talent pool.

About you

You are energised by delivering in a complex, agile and multi-disciplined project environment.

You have experience supporting delivery of large-scale projects in a regulatory environment.

You can build and maintain strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders through effective communication, that fosters collaboration and leverages expertise.

You are solution oriented and provide lateral and innovative thinking to resolve issues

You have experience using agile tools, e.g., JIRA.
