The role Reporting to the Manager, Metro North Digital Partnership Team you will drive the day-to-day delivery of timely and high quality network and unified communication services that reflect contemporary best practice so that defined service levels can be maintained.
Are you right for this role?To be successful in the role, you will have:

- High level technical competency in the operational management of Communications and Network infrastructure using the following (or similar) technologies:
Communications technologies
- Cisco IP Telephony, Cisco Unified Communications Manager, UCCX, Unity, Cisco VoIP handsets, Voice Gateways
- Legacy Alcatel PABX, Digital and IP handsets, Alcatel DECT handsets, Omnivista PABX Management software
- Critical Messaging systems, SPOK Messenger, New Voice MobiCall, Ascom Unite Messaging Suite
- Legacy PABX/VOIP Integration and migration strategies.
- Unified Communications Server and Storage Infrastructure

Network technologies
- Corporate LAN and Data Centre design, implementation and support
- Wan Technologies, DWDM/CWDM
- Best practice security Cisco ISE/ASA, Checkpoint
- Cisco Nexus Series switches
- Cisco Catalyst Series switches
- Cisco Unified Wireless Architecture, Wireless Design practices, Cisco Wireless Controllers, Cisco Access Points; Cisco Prime Infrastructure for Wireless Management
- Well-developed management skills and knowledge including high level ability in the areas of planning, managing resources, budget preparation and management.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and promote Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) processes based on the ITIL framework, primarily incident / problem / change / release / configuration management.
- High level verbal, written, interpersonal and facilitation skills showing a capacity to advise, liaise and negotiate effectively with clients and stakeholders with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrated high level organisational skills including the ability to establish own work priorities and manage time effectively, whilst remaining flexible to respond to changing needs in a dynamic, pressured environment.
- Experience in the design, build, documentation and implementation of technical solutions within best practice IM/ICT design and delivery frameworks across a large scale, complex organisation
