**More about what you’ll do**
The role of Strategic Partnership Manager is appointed as part of the COS Commercial Sales Team, reporting through to the National Sales Manager. The role will actively encompass building strategic & mutually beneficial relationships between COS and its key customers with a focus on achieving a high standard of customer retention & profitable revenue growth.
Full ownership for building relationships at multiple levels, with a clear understanding and commercial interpretation of the clients business and their current & future market strategies, including market risks and strengths. An understanding of the clients key commercial requirements including their Environmental, Social and Governance motivation and navigating the relationships within the account to align the needs of all key stakeholders.
The role will be responsible for the overall strategy of the account which will require strong interdepartmental relationships. You will directly influence the role of the National Account Director and Internal Sales teams to uncover areas of opportunity and risk. Your relationship with our commercial and category teams will support the growth and strategy and provide key insights to market activity and client needs.
The Strategic Partnership Manager role requires a strong commercial mindset that can connect the fundamental operations of both parties including finance, operational and procurement efficiencies.

To be successful in this role you will display the following attributes:
- You are a naturally curious & goal orientated
- A reputation for building long-term trusted advisor relationships with Senior Executive stakeholders (internal & external) with the ability to influence these stakeholders
- Extensive experience designing and implementing account management strategies for a portfolio of large business customers with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and a desire towards continuous learning
- A strong discipline for sales including sales techniques, account planning, opportunity planning including analytical capability to draw insights based on the client and market trends.
