Security Manager

The role of Security Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong and positive client partnerships. The incumbent in the role is expected to operate at a consistently high standard ensuring all jobs are performed effectively and efficiently to adequately meet the needs of our growing business.
**Main Duties**:
- Building and maintaining strong and positive client partnerships
- Operational and Workforce management of all security personnel providing services at the precinct and customer service focused security team, to provide exceptional high-end security services.
- Planning, organising and directing the operational and administrative activities on a day-to-day basis, as well as proposing and implementing proactive measures to improve performance.
- Develop and maintain both client and internal business goals, plans, and strategies through analysing performance data, reporting, and identifying client needs, ensuring regulatory and contractual compliance at all times.
- Providing prompt attention to any compliments and complaints, ensuring corrective action and preventative measures are implemented, ensuring shared learning, and communication with the relevant stakeholders.
- Completing site inspections and account audits, including generating, analysing and providing KPI reports and supporting documents to client band the business.
- Allocation of resources mainly human personnel in relevant companies and/or budget of the company)
- Performing additional duties such as monitoring, training, interviewing new people in accordance to the company partner's policies.
**Hours of work**:
This is a full-time role where the incumbent will be expected to work at least 38 hours per week. The shifts required to be worked may vary from time to time.
**Qualifications, education, experience and abilities required**:
- Proven experience in security management, preferably in events or a similar industry.
- Strong leadership, team management skills, organisational and project management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, work flexibly and respond to changing event requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulatory standards, security protocols and considerations for events.
- Proficient in report writing and administrative tasks.
- Ability to work weekdays and weekends, events depending.
- Having knowledge and understanding of security and safety, particularly when working at an event.
**Remuneration**:
$70,000 + superannuation
