Ventia provide facilities management for the Northern Beaches Hospital and we’re seeking an experienced Maintenance Officer to join our team on a full time permanent bases. This position is an integral part of the team, to which you’ll provide planned, preventative and reactive maintenance services; and lifecycle replacement.

**Key responsibilities**
- Conduct and complete all allocated work orders in a timely manner
- Assist qualified trade staff in conducting maintenance activities
- Repair and replacing furniture, fridges, fixtures, and fittings.
- Perform basic carpentry jobs including hanging and replacing doors and curtain hooks, replacing ceiling tiles and operating power tools, with plastering and painting being a big part of the role
- General housekeeping of common areas and plantrooms, as well as clearing gutters of rubbish and debris

**About you**
- Previous experience working as a Trade Assistant, handyman or doing general maintenance - trade qualification not essential
- Excellent time management
