**About the role**
We have an opportunity for a
**Policy and Programs Officer** to be part of our Aboriginal Coordination team. The Policy and Programs Officer assists with policy and program development, analysis and advice on operational policy and program initiatives and commitments within NSWPF.
Opportunity to liaise with and provide support to NSWPF employees across the state. Work in a dynamic environment with a committed team of Aboriginal employees. This role informs initiatives, provides excellent customer service, supports programs and influences positive relationships between Aboriginal people and the NSWPF. Ability to travel is required.
Aboriginality is a genuine occupational qualification as authorised by Part 5, Clause 26 of the Government Sector Employment Rules 2014.

**Target Question 1**:
As Policy and Programs officer you will manage the Aboriginal Strategic Direction, Crime Prevention Grants Program and be required to provide analysis and recommendations for consideration of the senior Management. Using a recent work example outline how you have led a project, the process for managing expenditure, reporting structures and what was the outcome.
**Target Question 2**:
As Policy and Programs officer you will perform a range of Policy and Program development tasks with competing demands and priorities. Describe a time when you had a highly complex and potentially contentious project. What kept you on track and what did you learn.
