Sydney, Australia Ontrack Systems Full time

Test Analyst with 4 to 5 years of experience in Data warehouse/ETL testing and a minimum of 6 months to 1 year of testing experience in Microsoft Azure.

Must have skills:

- Know how or experience in different components of Hadoop like HDFS, HIVE, Sqoop, HBASE, MapReduce.
- Experience and knowledge in Microsoft Azure tools such as ADLS, ADF, Azure DevOps, Dremio, Parquet Viewer etc.
- Experience in various testing like - Functional, Manual, Automation, Regression, Integration and User Acceptance testing (UAT).
- Experience in test automation, building frameworks for automated tests.
- Exposure with data warehouse (Oracle, Teradata, Cloudera etc.)
- Exposure with Databricks.
- SQL Skills.
- Good to have skills:

- Working knowledge in different CI/CD tools.
- Experience in Reporting tools like Tableau, Power BI.
- Hands on experience in using JIRA, Confluence or Azure DevOps
- Experience with any scripting languages, preferably Python.
- Experience with an ETL tool, like Informatica, DataStage, etc.
- Experience in working on Agile projects
- Domain: Telecom & Media (Preferred; however not a limitation)

Role & Responsibilities:

- Understand Business requirements and translate them into test Objectives and test cases.
- Write queries to validate the data between source and target according to the Business requirements.
- Execute Test Cases, Log defects, Track Defects, and conduct defect triage meetings.
- Develop and maintain Automated Regression Test scripts.
- Provide updates on Testing progress, risks, issues, and defects to the Test Lead/Manager.
- Support Business during UAT.
