Data Migration Analyst

**Fixed-term full-time (76 hour per fortnight)**:

**About the Opportunity**:
The Data Migration Analyst is required to perform data analysis of existing data structures and relational databases, data formats, primary and secondary keys data relations, data transformation rules and technical transformation scripts, validation of data and identification of anomalies, as well as detailed data migration tasks to support the transformation project.
- The key tasks and responsibilities will include but is not limited to_
- Undertaking data migration analysis, design, and implementation, including test and verification of migrated data.
- Undertake data collection, prepare and collect data from various sources (report, list, custom query, data extraction, or relational databases).
- Undertake data exploration, explore the dataset from various sources to understand its characteristics, distributions, and relationships between variables, and establish the as-is data dictionary.
- Support the development of technical data migration scripts and tools.
- Perform data cleaning activities including definition of validation rules, validation routines and monitoring data quality.
- Support the data transformation routings as part of data migration.
- Responsible for testing data migration process and environment maintenance.
- Maintain adequate data documentation and data dictionary.
- Supporting Flourish Australia’s Monitoring and Evaluation Framework, including creating data reports and visualisation that achieves the objectives of the Framework.
- Preparation and injection of sample data to support various project testing phases and business scenarios.

**About You**:

- Demonstrate strong skills in data analytics and data visualization.
- Demonstrated experience utilising Azure Data Factory for developing ETL transformations and verifying data accuracy.
- Demonstrated experience utilizing Power Bi for visualization of data.
- Have sound written and verbal communication skills.
- Have the ability to form effective working relationships internally and externally to deliver key priorities in a collaborative manner.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills, including being non-judgmental, fair, patient, willing to listen, and empathic.
- Be able to work independently

**Selection Criteria**:

- Essential:_
- Qualifications in a relevant field of study or equivalent work experience as recognised by Flourish Australia.
- A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in data migration activities, such as data identification, monitoring, management, ETL transformation, verification, and reporting, utilizing tools like Azure Data Factory (including pipelines and data flows), Power BI, or equivalent software.
- Advanced technical skills using analytical tools such as SQL, Python, SPSS and Excel.
- Sound communication skills including the ability to write reports, present to and engage with staff.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and autonomously with internal and external stakeholders, with the capability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
- Desirable:_
- Prior experience in CRM implementation and/or data migration projects is highly desired.
- Prior experience in Azure Data Factory CI/CD configuration.
- Relevant technical accreditation or tertiary qualification.
- Experience in Power Automate
- Experience in developing data analysis/visualisation tools.
- A carer role or having a lived experience of mental health issues will be an advantage.
