Bluefin Resources are working with a prestigious government enterprise to recruit a Data Management & Migration Lead for a 12 month contract with further extensions.

**Role and Accountabilities**
- Lead the planning, design, development, and implementation of the data management and migration strategy approach and plan to ensure the successful delivery of the program
- Manage the schedule and deliverables for data management stream including data migration strategy and preparation, data management and security, data profiling and designs, trial cutovers of data migration, end-to-end reconciliation framework, data migrations to support program testing cycles and data migration for cutovers and go-lives.
- Lead and govern data cleansing activities to support successful data migrations across trial cutovers, testing cycles and go-live cutovers.
- Manage risks and issues and track all interdependencies for inclusion in critical planning relating to the data migration
- Lead the procurement processes to prepare, identify, evaluate, select, and manage a supplier to deliver data management and migration services to the program
- Recruit, onboard, manage and develop a team of data developers and data analysts including a mix of department and vendor resources.
- Ensure alignment with applicable department data management strategies and architecture
- Establish close working relationships with relevant internal data management resources to ensure the program delivery adheres to relevant internal guidelines
- Depth of competence in data migration and management
- Experience with HR data sets
- Data experience with SaaS products (SAP SuccessFactors ideal)
- Experience in migrating data from complex legacy systems
- Public sector experience

High likelihood of extensions.
Should have experience in 2 end-to-end projects in similar testing or data roles.
Gov experience preferred.

**On Offer** - This is an initial 12 month contract with a high chance of extensions. 3 days working from home and 2 days in the Parramatta offices.
