**About your new role**
Come on board as the Wynnum Location Manager and see how this position will change your life. This role plays an important and involved part in not just the business, but also the clients and families you will work with along the way. As the Location Manager, you are actively engaged across all aspects of the business including, people management, financial management, customer service excellence, operations management, and business development.
- Manage, support and inspire your team by creating a workplace where people feel valued, challenged and proud.
- Ensure operating efficiency, including managing your location requirements and the delivery of performance targets.
- Continue to meet reporting requirements and standards of excellence.
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships and identify opportunities for sector growth and promotional activities.
- Participate in family meetings, as well as preparing, directing, coordinating, and monitoring all aspects of the funeral, service, transfers, and/or viewings.

**We are looking for people with**:
- Either an understanding of the funeral service industry and its operations, or the ability to rapidly acquire industry knowledge
- Commercial or small business ownership mindset with drive and passion
- Strong management experience in previous service-driven roles
- A professional, well-presented and compassionate demeanour
- Justice of the Peace qualification or the ability to obtain it within 6 months of commencing (essential)
- Tertiary qualifications in Business or other relevant discipline (desirable)
- Current 'c' class unrestricted driver’s license (essential)
- Flexibility to travel to different locations and participate in after hour and weekend duties
- Full Covid19 vaccination status
- You will be required to undergo a criminal record check and successfully complete medical and physical assessments to adequately complete the duties and responsibilities of the position.
